Sebastian Eskandari-Mirandi celebrates after his victory in Cadet 9 with Fast Adjusters V5.0
Eskandari-Mirandi (above) set the benchmark in qualifying and followed it up with comfortable wins in the first 3 Heats. Eskandari-Mirandi was outstanding again in the Final race, and led all the way to win 3.3 seconds ahead of second place.
Harrison Hoey driving his Tag 125 Light kart to victory with Fast Adjusters V1.0
TAG 125 Light was expected to be one of the most thrilling classes to watch and certainly lived up to it's expectations. Harrison Hoey (above) suffered engine issues and didn’t record a time in qualifying, resulting in having to start the first two Heats from last position (29th).
In heat 1, Hoey managed to work his way up to 7th place and recorded the fastest lap along the way. In the second 10 lap heat, Hoey made his way through the field to 6th place. A combined points start for heat 3 gave Hoey grid position six. This did not last long as he very quickly moved through the field and in to the lead. Hoey again was quick to get to the front in heat 4, but he had a battle on his hands with second place taking the lead from him middway. With four laps to go, Hoey pushed his way forward and won the race. This landed Hoey starting from 5th place for the final.
In the final, Hoey worked his way through the five karts infront, to eventually take the lead at the halfway point. With pressure from 2nd place all the way to the flag, Hoey did not crack and managed to claim a victory and the fasted lap of the race.
Fast Adjusters would like to congratulate both Sebastian and Harrison on such a standout performance and wish them all the best for their next event.
